We recommend the Honey Lavender Latte or the Cafe au Lait!

Good Press Cafe

At Good Press Cafe, the coffee is amazing and the vibes immaculate.

Low-key and community-focused, Good Press Cafe offers both coffee and food, boasting robust breakfast and lunch menus to keep you fueled throughout the day.

For the health-conscious, there are cold smoothies, overnight oats, and smoked salmon toast. For those looking for hearty options, there are breakfast burritos, fried potatoes, and classic breakfast platters with all the usual suspects (eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, and toast).

The real star of the show, however, is the coffee.

While the house drip is excellent, we Black Walnut Latte.

Meshuggah Cafe

Family-owned for over 30 years, Meshuggah Cafe serves coffee and tea, juice, smoothies, and an all-day breakfast you won't want to skip.

Located on the Delmar Loop right down near Washington University's North Campus, Meshuggah's lively atmosphere is a reflection of the vibrant local community.

On a hot day, you can enjoy a cold brew or an Arnold Palmer. On a chilly morning, try a Cortado or Honey + Vanilla Latte.

With this menu, you really can't go wrong.

Coma Coffee Roasters

Located in University Tower on Brentwood Boulevard, Coma Coffee Roasters prides itself on sourcing high-quality beans from around the world and roasting them in ways that bring out their unique flavors and characteristics.

Though you can order for pick-up and delivery, we recommend taking time to sit and sip right there in the cafe, taking in the ambiance and enjoying the sights and sounds.

Whatever else you do, come hungry. In addition to one of the best full hot breakfast menus offered by any of the coffee shops in St. Louis, Coma Coffee Roasters offers hot tea, espresso, brewed coffee, and signature drinks. You can also order draft beer, wines, and cocktails!

It's safe to say that with all that Coma Coffee Roasters has to offer, there's something here for everyone.

Comet Coffee

Comet Coffee brings to St. Louis a blend of both nationally and internationally recognized roasts. Located on Oakland Avenue, Comet Coffee is bright, warm, and welcoming.

Their menu features

  • Espressos
  • Pour overs / hand brews
  • Americanos
  • Cold brews
  • Chai lattes
  • Matcha lattes
  • Drip batch brews
  • Teas

Those who fall in love with Comet Coffee's roasts can even sign up for monthly coffee subscriptions that will bring the comfort and coziness of well-roasted coffees right to the doorsteps of their St. Louis homes.

Park Avenue Coffee Roasters

Park Avenue Coffee Roasters is locally owned and operated. Though you could visit any one of their six cafe locations, we recommend the one nestled right in Historical Lafayette Square. The sightseeing and ambiance in this 184-year-old neighborhood are unmatched.

One thing that makes Park Avenue Coffee Roasters coffee unique is their air-roasting method. This makes for brighter flavors, and their focus on small-batch roasts leads to consistently fresh tastes.

While this location does offer a wide variety of non-coffee drinks, including teas, smoothies, hot chocolates, milk, juices, and soda, the true stars of the show are the coffee and espresso-based drinks.

We especially recommend a simple frozen cold brew or the Turtle Mocha Frappuccino!
